Program Reviews
A Program Review is an objective look at a learner’s current program and being sure that the overall program is focused on the “big picture.” The program review includes:
Review of last three years of evaluations
Review of past and current ABA programming/curriculum development and data collected
Observation of the learner via collected video, live video stream and/or face-to-face
Interviews with parents and therapists
School observation (optional)
Written recommendations for programming/curriculum development.
Why should I get a program review?
Our area of expertise is language development, from basic communication to having conversations. Many parents have contacted us regarding their child’s ability to use language and or use a communication device to not only get their needs met, but also to have a conversation. Sometimes parents reach out because they feel that their child’s program is stagnant and is in need of fresh ideas. The skills that are required for each child to work towards using language in a meaningful and effective way is a highly individualized and complex venture. Our goals are to compliment and enhance the program currently in place. For more information or to discuss the details of a Program Review, please contact us at info@abaskills.com.
